Ranch rules & policies

House & barn rules

• Check-in after 3:00 PM. Check-out by 11:00 AM.
• Up to 6 guests in the house. No smoking anywhere indoors.
• Before you leave: gather used towels, throw trash away, turn things off, and lock up.
• Pets are welcome. Service animals are always welcome and are not counted as pets.
• Our turkeys, ducks and chickens roam freely. They’re friendly — let us know if they bother you.
• The back porch is closed for renovations.
• Every horse must have a current negative Coggins test. Please have a copy available on arrival.
• Guests are expected to leave the property in good condition. If excessive cleaning or repairs are needed because of guests or animals, a cleaning and/or damage fee will be charged based on the work required.

Cancellations

Cancel any time up to the day before your check-in date for a full refund, so we can open the space back up for other guests. On your check-in day or later, the booking can’t be refunded. Camera access ends as soon as a booking is cancelled.

Weddings

• The venue rental is $1,500. A $500 deposit, paid when you book, holds your date and counts toward the rental. We’ll agree when the rest is due, and quote for any decorations, food or coordination you ask for.
• One wedding a day: your date is yours alone.
• Cancel at least 30 days before your wedding date for a full refund of your deposit. After that the deposit isn’t refundable, because we can’t usually rebook the date.
• Use of the grounds, barn and arena is at your own risk, and the equine liability terms below apply to everyone on the property.

Equine liability

The use of all equine facilities, including the barn, stalls, turnouts, riding arena, and other horse-related areas, is at your own risk. By bringing horses onto the property, guests acknowledge and accept all risks associated with equine activities.

Rockin' C Ranch, its owners, and its representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or death involving horses, riders, handlers, spectators, or personal property resulting from equine activities or the use of the ranch’s facilities.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests and their horses.

Stall cameras

Each stall has a camera so guests can check on their own horses. When you book a stall, you can watch only the camera(s) on the stall(s) assigned to you, from 3 hours before check-in until 2 hours after check-out. If one camera covers two neighbouring stalls, guests in either stall can see both while their stays overlap. Exterior security cameras also operate on the property.

For the horses’ safety, stall cameras may also be recorded on our recorder at the ranch. Recordings stay at the ranch, are never published, are kept only for a limited time, and only the ranch owners can view them.

Privacy

We collect your name, email, phone number and booking details to run your reservation and give you camera access. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never receive or store your card number. We don’t sell your information or use advertising trackers, and this site sets only one cookie — to keep you signed in.

For security we keep a log of sign-ins and camera views (time, account and IP address) for about a year. To see or delete your information, contact us.

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to book and use this site. It is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA: it works with a keyboard alone, with screen readers, with zoom up to 400%, and in light, dark and high-contrast modes. The house is single-level.
